Pedestrian Accident Leads to Major Injuries for San Diego Woman

In San Diego, it is reported that a woman was injured during a pedestrian accident.  According to reports, the 22 year old woman was walking her dog when a bicyclist hit her.  Instead of stopping to see if the woman was alright or had suffered injuries, the biker rode off.

Police Officer Dino Delimitros said that the hit and run accident occurred on Monday in the Torrey Pines area.  The woman was allegedly hit from behind by the bicyclist and had to be hospitalized for the injuries that she suffered.

One of the injuries she suffered was a fractured skill.  When she was hit by the biker, she fell to the ground and hit her head on the pavement, which resulted in her sustaining a head injury.

If you were involved in a pedestrian accident and you have reason to believe that negligence played a role, it is important that you discuss your case with a personal injury lawyer as soon as possible.
