CHP Busy Responding to Crash on I5

Officers from the California Highway Patrol were kept busy at an accident on I-5 northbound last week.

According to police reports, an overturned cement truck became involved in an accident with two more vehicles, causing a serious disturbance on the highway. There was one fatality reported in the multiple car accident, which happened around 1:30 a.m. in Palm City.

Emergency response crews were called to the scene to clean up at least seven yards of cement spillage that had been poured onto the highway. Officers are still investigating the cause of the crash; no citations or tickets have been issued as of yet by the CHP.
