Officers Looking for Driver Involved in Bike Accident

After a young man lost his life in a bicycle accident last month, Seattle police are still investigating the collision in the hopes of finding the person responsible for the incident.

The victim was riding his bicycle and traveling north on July 28th when he was struck by a SUV. Witnesses described the vehicle as being beige in color, American-made in the late nineties to mid-2000s. Due to the impact of the bicycle accident, the front of the vehicle is likely to have sustained serious damage, prompting officers to search for a SUV that matches witnesses' descriptions.

The day after a news broadcast described the accident with a message from local police stating that the suspect was still at large. A young woman called the police soon after, describing a strange conversation she had with her neighbor about the accident and news reports. Officers now believe that the 31-year-old woman the neighbor conversed with may be responsible for the fatal hit-and-run bicycle accident.

Anytime a person has been adversely impacted by the negligent actions of a driver, it is important that they take the time to discuss their case, accident and injuries with a personal injury lawyer in their state of residence.
