Infant Seriously Injured in Downtown Los Angeles Car Accident

Just two months ago in the downtown Los Angeles area, a two month old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car while in his stroller. The driver of a Cadillac De Ville was in the process of trying to park when they accidentally put their foot on the accelerator as opposed to the brake, and the car jumped the curb hitting the baby in the stroller. The mother was uninjured and the baby was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The accident was under further investigation to determine the details as to how the accident happened and why. The investigation should bring forth the specifics as to whether the accident was caused by driver inattention, distraction, or whether there were drugs or alcohol involved. Regardless of the cause, the driver can be held civilly liable for any damages or injuries and the mother has full right to seek compensation.
