Las Vegas Red-Light Runner Involved in Fatal Accident

The accident occurred a little after 10:00 at night on a recent Friday evening. A 25-year-old man driving a sports car apparently ignored a red light at a busy intersection. He then crashed into a small SUV carrying three people. The sports car careened violently into a pole after hitting the SUV. Emergency personnel arrived at the accident scene and treated the driver of the SUV and the two passengers for minor injuries at the scene. Tragically, the 25-year-old driver that had entered the intersection on a red light suffered fatal injuries from the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
