North Carolina Man Dies during Motorcycle Collision

In Sawmills, it is reported that a man from Morganton died on Tuesday evening.  The man's death was caused by a tragic motorcycle accident.

According to a report from North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper M.J. Pennington, 32 year old Ronald Christopher Robinson died at the scene of the accident on Helton Road, which is near Sawmills.

The trooper said that prior to Robinson's accident, he had been traveling at a high rate of speed when he crossed over into the left lane and ran off the side of the road.  Robinson then struck a tree and was ejected from his bike.
