A California Highway Patrol officer suffered minor injuries when his parked patrol car was struck by another vehicle on Interstate 80. According to report, the officer had just cleared some debris and was back in his vehicle when the other car hit him. The CHP reports that the driver of the car was in the right-hand lane and cut into the path of another vehicle in the left-hand lane. As a result of these two vehicles colliding, the car then struck the back of the patrol car. Only the officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.
