Motorcyclist in Serious Condition after Hit and Run Crash

A 33-year-old San Diego man suffered a fractured pelvis, lacerations, contusions and other injuries after a car ran into him while he was on his motorcycle recently. The biker was heading east on a local road around 3:30 in the afternoon when a red two-door sedan traveling west suddenly made a left turn and struck him. The vehicle then fled the scene by speeding through a parking lot along the road and then heading south according to witnesses at the accident location. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital by an ambulance and is currently in stable condition. California Highway Patrol officers arriving at the scene attempted to locate the sedan involved in the crash but were unable to find it. Witnesses were not able to give a description of the driver and investigators are asking for the public's help in finding the car which was described as a red two-door sedan with four round tail lights and most likely having right side damage due to the collision with the motorcycle.
