Law Enforcement Examining Accident That Left One Man Injured

Police are still investigating a car accident that left one man seriously injured. So far officers do not have any information about the accident other than what was gathered at the scene. A call was placed around 4 p.m. last week in Scotts Valley to report a truck that had driven off the road. The victim was deemed to be in serious condition and in need of a medical helicopter. Both of the local medical helicopters were busy taking care of other calls. In the end, the decision was made to drive the victim to a hospital. One lane was shut down for police and emergency personnel to assess the scene of the car accident.
