Four People Killed in Auto Accident

Four people lost their lives in Arizona when a tractor trailer collided with a passenger car.

According to police reports, the tractor trailer was heading east on the highway when the driver lost control of his rig. It started fishtailing across the highway, then crossed over the center median, plowing straight into oncoming traffic. The driver of the second minivan had no time to avoid the accident and collided with the tractor trailer. Within moments the minivan burst into flames, trapping the passengers inside.

When officers arrived on the scene, all three passengers of the minivan had perished. They soon learned that the victims - a mother, father and son - were heading to California to visit their son in the Navy. The tractor trailer driver also lost his life in the truck accident. Several more people were injured when the rig hit them on its path of destruction.

News sources say that the accident is still under investigation by local law enforcement.
