Pedestrian Hit While Crossing Road in San Diego

Although little information is yet known about the victim, San Diego police do know that she was attempting to cross Linda Vista Road before she was struck.

The fatal pedestrian accident happened in Clairemont around 10 p.m. Police received several phone calls about a woman who had been struck by a car, the driver of which stayed to be questioned by the police. Officers have yet to identify the woman and are still questioning the driver, whose identity has not been released. When paramedics arrived, they transported the victim to Sharp Memorial Hospital; she lost her life shortly after.
