Car Accident Not Cause of Macho Man's Death

Contrary to initial reports, a coroner's report showed this week that Randy 'Macho Man' Savage died of natural causes, and not the car accident he was involved in.

The St. Petersburg Medical Examiner's Office released the official report showing that Savage had an enlarged heart with extensively hardened coronary arteries. Due to his pre-existing condition, Savage was determined to have gone unresponsive while driving his Jeep in May. Although the vehicle crashed into a tree at relatively high speeds, the former wrestler only received minor scrapes and cuts. There was also a standard level of prescribed drugs in his system, but alcohol was immediately ruled out as a contributing factor. Since none of the drugs found in his system were for heart problems, the coroner's office determined that Savage likely did not know about his condition.

Savage was joined by wife Lynn, who suffered minor injuries. The two had just married last year.
