Famous Stylist Killed by Garbage Truck

This week, in New York's Upper East Side, a well-known fashion stylist was killed during a truck accident. Sources say that a garbage truck hit her while she was approximately one block away from her home.

Laurence Renard had been crossing the street when a truck made a sharp left turn onto the avenue and struck her. Witnesses directed traffic away from her body until an ambulance arrived.  Rescue workers later pronounced her dead at the scene of the accident.

Renard is a well-known stylist for Victoria's Secret and has also worked on campaigns for Ambercrombie and Fitch.

Police arrested the driver, 23-year-old Diego Tapia-Ulloa, for not having a valid license. Witnesses say that the driver sped around the corner so fast that the victim never saw him coming.

If you suffered injuries during a major trucking accident you should take the time to set up a consultation with a personal injury lawyer who practices law in your city of residence. You may be entitled to monetary damages for your injuries, emotional trauma and pain and suffering.
