2 Men Narrowly Escape Construction Accident

Two men escaped narrowly with their lives when a construction accident showered hundreds of bricks down on them. They were working at the old Maynard's toffee factory in City Road, Newcastle, when the building collapsed around them.

Trapped in the basement when hundreds of bricks threatened to bury them, the two men were lucky to escape with just bruises, cuts and shock. Shortly after the building collapsed police, fire crews and ambulances were called in to answer the 999 call placed by worried coworkers.

Firefighters from Wallsend, Low Fella and Fossway were finally able to reach the men by lowering a cage from an aerial ladder to life the men out of the rubble.

If someone you love has recently become the victim of a construction accident then you need a personal injury lawyer to start working for you. There is no need for your loved one to suffer alone and tackle mounting medical bills when an attorney can intervene and offer assistance.
