Former Racer Causes Boat Accident

It is bad enough that a former racer will have to spend over two years in jail for causing a boat accident. The fact that he killed his best friend in the accident is a punishment far worse than jail time.

The 45-year-old man was with his best friend on a boat in south Finland when it crashed into a bridge support pillar. Although the driver initially disputed the claim that he was the one driving the boat, thus having caused the accident, forensic evidence proved him wrong. Based on the results of the coroner's report, the victim was shown to be the passenger while the survivor was clearly operating the boat. The accident may not have taken place if the former race car driver had not been intoxicated.

If you have recently been injured in a boat accident, now is the time to have your case reviewed by a personal injury attorney as you may be allowed to seek damages for your wounds and suffering.
