Serious Injuries Reported after Car Accident

Tragedy struck in South Carolina several times this week as reckless drivers took to the roadways, injuring themselves and others.

A call was placed to the South Carolina Highway Patrol regarding a vehicle that had flipped over on Charleston-Augusta Road. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a late-model Ford Explorer that was on its side. Inside the 40-year-old driver, as well as three others, were seriously injured. They were taken by medical helicopter to a local hospital. Two additional passengers were declared dead on the scene; one of the deceased was ejected from the vehicle, while the second man was actually wearing his seat belt.

At this time, the car accident is still under investigation police. As with any serious car accident, a full investigation must be conducted to reveal the cause of the incident, as well as any charges that should be applied to the driver.

If you were harmed during an auto accident, now is the time to seek representation from a personal injury lawyer in your area.
