Pedestrian Killed in Accident

A pedestrian in the Springfield, Oregon area has reportedly been killed on an accident involving a pickup truck. A man was reportedly crossing the street, although not at a crosswalk, when he was hit. It is being reported that the driver of the truck was obeying the rules of the road when the man stepped out in front of her vehicle. Police are currently reporting that speed and alcohol do not seem to be factors in this pedestrian accident.
