Two Year Old Killed after Darting into Traffic

In Georgia, a family form Dekalb County is currently mourning the loss of a two year old child who was hit on Covington Highway.  According to police, the boy, his mother and his sister were waiting at a local bus stop when the two-year-old suddenly darted into traffic.

Police have identified the victim as King Kevion Isiac-Tubbs.  At this time, police have not identified the driver, but say there is no indication that the driver did anything wrong before the fatality occurred.

The driver took the time to speak with police in length, but was too distraught to speak with news reporters on camera about the car accident.

Witnesses who saw the accident say that the mother and her children had just crossed the highway when the little boy ran into traffic and was hit.  Police at the driver of the SUV will not be charged with any crimes.
