Two Bystanders Killed during Pedestrian Accident

Two innocent bystanders were killed on Saturday in Los Angeles when a traffic accident caused a car to strike them where they stood on the corner. The 89 year old woman and her daughter, approximately 60 years old, became victims when a Volkswagen traveling north collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck that was attempting to make a left turn onto Coliseum Street.

Both women were brought to the hospital and died later on in the night. Neither driver sustained serious injuries from the accident. However, the driver of the Chevrolet was later cited for his failure to yield to the Volkswagen.
