Woman’s Dog Attacks Her at Home

A Hesston, Kansas woman was injured when her dog attacked her at her own home. The woman was attacked while trying to help one of her other dogs. The woman was critically injured in the attack that she believed occurred because the pit bull thought she was trying to hurt the other dog. She was bitten in multiple areas around her body. The dog was taken to be placed under observation for 10 days. Pit bulls are not allowed in the city of Hesston, so the woman will not be able to keep the dog at her residence.
