Truck Rollover Accident Halts Traffic in San Diego

In San Diego, a recent dump truck accident occurred on Interstate 5 in the Mount Soledad area today.  Reports indicate that during the trucking accident, the vehicle overturned and spilled gravel across all four southbound lanes of the freeway.

According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on southbound I-5 just south of state Route 52.  It was reported to officers at approximately 9:12 AM. 

Officers from the California Highway Patrol believe that the rollover accident may have resulted from a tire that blew out.  They also say that the three right lanes of the freeway were reopened just before noon.

At this time, it is unclear whether anyone was injured during the crash or not.
