Separate Accidents Occur within Minutes of Each Other

In Delaware, two separate accidents left one person dead and two others injured in the city of New Castle.

According to Capl. Peter Small of the New Castle County paramedics, both accidents took place this past Friday on U.S. 13.  The first was a pedestrian accident that occurred when a vehicle that was traveling northbound hit a male pedestrian in the roadway at approximately 8:30 AM.  The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

Two minutes later, a motorcycle with two people on board that was traveling in the southbound lanes was involved in a serious accident when the bike rear-ended the vehicle in front of it.  Both the motorcycle driver and the passenger had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

If you were injured during an accident, such as a pedestrian accident, now is the time to discuss your case and injuries with a personal injury lawyer.
