Drunk Driver Injures 12 in Bus Accident

Twelve people were taken to the hospital with a range of injuries after a drunk driver crashed into the bus they were riding on.

The accident, which occurred two days before Christmas, was caused by 32-year-old Joy Christine Wilson, who police say was driving with a blood alcohol concentration level twice the legal limit. Police say that when Wilson collided with the bus, the force of the collision caused the bus to slam into a guardrail and flip over.

All of the passengers on the bus suffered injuries, with three passengers suffering permanent injuries to their lungs, neck, spine, arms, and back.

Have you or a loved one suffered an injury in a bus accident or car accident caused by a drunk driver? If so, you deserve to be compensated for what you been through. Personal injury laws state that when another person's negligence, recklessness, or wrongful actions cause or contribute to the injury or death of another, the victim has the right to seek compensation for their medical expenses, lost wages, property damage, and overall pain and suffering. Drunk driving is one of the most egregious forms of negligence, and anyone who causes injury or death because they were driving under the influence must be held accountable for their negligence. A personal injury lawyer can see to it that your rights to compensation are aggressively advocated in an effort to recover the largest possible settlement.
