Concord, N.H. – A pregnant woman is victimized by an enraged motorist who used a taser against her in an act of “road rage.”

According to police, 22-year-old Carissa Williams went too far with her road rage when she tasered two months pregnant Corrine Leclair. “She was scared to death and all of the sudden the taser came out,” said Brandon, the victim’s husband.

According to the victim’s husband, the whole incident began along Route 3 in Pembroke, New Hampshire. He says his wife was going the speed limit at 35 mph, but according to the police, Williams thought Leclair wasn’t going fast enough.Williams, “started yelling at her for going 35 in a 35 mile an hour zone, began to throw bottles and cans at the car,” said Sgt. Thomas of the Concord, New Hampshire Police Department. Leclair didn’t understand why the girl was so angry at her for driving the speed limit.

According to investigators, Williams then sped up and passed Leclair, however, both women wound up getting off the 93 North at Exit 14 in Concord. This is when Williams jumped out of her car, leaving her own 6-month-old infant alone in her car, as she hopped into Leclair’s car and tased her.

Leclair said, “Stop! I’m pregnant.” That didn’t stop Williams from climbing into the passenger side anyway and tasering the helpless pregnant woman. The attack occurred while the victim was on her cell phone with the police. Fortunately, the baby will be okay. Williams was arraigned on charges of assault and reckless endangerment of a child. Williams is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
