Student Hospitalized after Elevator Accident at School

Staff, students, and parents were given a scare at a local middle school when three girls became trapped under an elevator. Emergency services were alerted to the accident after two calls to 911 were made. One of the calls was made on a cell phone by one of the students that was trapped under the elevator. The three middle school students were rescued from under the elevator and transported to a local hospital. One of the girls remains in the hospital though her exact injuries have not been reported.
