3 U.S. Students Killed in International Car Accident

Three students from the United States were killed in an auto accident in New Zealand last week. All three were attending Boston University and were embarking on a trip to a national park. Two of the victims were from California while the third was from New Jersey, reported the admissions office at Boston University. There were three vans traveling to the Tongariro Crossing, a scenic park that has been the sight of several popular movies. At one point the van went onto a gravel patch and in an attempt to steer back onto the roadway, the driver overcorrected himself and wound up flipping the vehicle.
