John Travolta Sued for Sexual Assault by "Enchanted of the Sea" Cruise Worker

In what seems to be a barrage of personally injury lawsuits accusing actor John Travolta of sexual harassment, the latest calls his attempts at a romance with a cruise ship employee "extreme and outrageous", as reported by CNN.

Cruise ship attendant, F.Z., has filed a lawsuit against Travolta for sexual assault during a 2009 Caribbean cruise.

F.Z. was assigned as Travolta's personal attendant for the cruise, however, after alerting his supervisor to the assault, was removed not only from service but "restrained" in a "segregated room" for the duration of the cruise.

The suit states that Travolta made "harmful and offensive contact" when he began "removing his bath robe, grabbing plaintiff's hand, and forcing his naked person and erect penis against plaintiff's person."

Martin Singer, Travolta's attorney, said, "This is another ludicrous lawsuit with inane claims. It is obvious that Mr. (F.Z.) and his lawyers are looking for their 15 minutes of fame."

F.Z. filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. The time of the sexual assault was in June of 2009 and onboard the Caribbean bound "Enchantment of the Sea" cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean.

After F.Z., employed as a personal room attendant, delivered food to Travolta's room, Travolta complained of neck pain and asked F.Z. to touch it.

However, as F.Z. came forward to accommodate Travolta, Travolta allegedly dropped his bathrobe and exposed himself "completely naked." Following that, as alleged in the suit, "Travolta proceeded to forcefully embrace plaintiff," which caused the "plaintiff to continue to experience pain, shock, embarrassment, distress and fear."

Travolta allegedly called F.Z. "beautiful" and asked him to "take me, I will take care of you, please." F.Z. responded by asking Travolta to let him go, however, "Travolta maintained a hard and painful grasp on plaintiff's hands."

According to the suit, Travolta asked F.Z. to return to his room later, that night, to collect $12,000 for his "discretion and silence."

The suit states that Travolta's behavior was "nonconsensual, inappropriate, extreme, and outrageous."

F.Z. allegedly reported the incident to the ship's director, human resources manager and staff captain while enduring "a state of pain, shock, embarrassment, distress and fear."

F.Z. filled out a report for the human resources manager but she "refused to allow plaintiff to write down any information regarding the nudity and/or sexual contact." Furthermore, the HR manager advised him that "unless he was bleeding and bruised, he did not suffer any injuries and thus could not obtain treatment or any other type of attention."

F.Z. was then ordered into a segregated room, for five days under restraint, until Travolta had departed the cruise ship. Later, and for the next two years, F.Z. pursued the cruise line to file a suit against Travolta, but they failed to assist him.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and a trial by jury.
