California Overpass Destroyed during Accident

An overpass in California was completely destroyed in a freak truck accident. The state just received notice that it will receive $2 million from the federal government to fix the overpass.

Last week a tanker truck struck the overpass. While the impact itself was damaging enough, the fact that the tanker truck exploded into flames made the accident much worse. The truck was carrying nearly 9,000 gallons of fuel when it caught on fire. The governor declared a state of emergency, a cry of help that was finally answered by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The cause of the accident and fire is still under investigation at this time. The driver has not been charged in connection to the truck accident nor the fire.

When you are hurt in a truck accident, you should consider seeking legal counsel from a personal injury lawyer in your state as soon as possible.
