Woman in Hawaii Loses Life during Trucking Accident

A woman lost her life last week in a truck accident in Hawaii. Police are still investigating the incident and have yet to press charges on the driver that caused it. According to the police reports, the victim, 42-year-old S.G., was driving her pickup truck eastbound when she was struck by the boom of a crane truck. Initial reports show that the electrical company truck was heading west when it drove over a cable. The truck fell on its side, forcing the boom into oncoming traffic.

Although the woman was taken to a local hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Her two passengers were also brought to the hospital but later released having sustained minor injuries. The driver of the crane truck was also treated for minor injuries. When you are hurt in a truck accident, you may not know who to turn to for help. One of the best things you can do to protect yourself from further suffering is to hire a personal injury attorney who can protect your interests.
