Burglar Flees While Responding Officers Crash

One burglar was able to flee without capture after responding officers crashed their patrol car into a concrete pole. Although the police department is still investigating the crash, it is known that the officers were en route to a burglary call around 8:30 p.m. last Tuesday when the car accident occurred.

For some reason, the officer behind the wheel lost control of the vehicle, which struck a light pole that then fell on top of the cruiser. The impact was so great that the officers were trapped inside until emergency crews were able to extract them.

While the three would-be burglars were able to flee the scene of the crime, officers caught a break in the case as the three crashed their own vehicle during their escape, making it easier for officers to detain two.

If you have recently been injured in an accident, it is important that you take the time to discuss your case with a personal injury attorney as you may be allowed to file a lawsuit to seek compensation for things such as your medical expenses and suffering.
