Biker Dies from Internal Injuries

A young man lost his life last week in North Carolina when another motorist did not take care when pulling out of a driveway.

Police were called to the scene of a motorcycle accident in Lincolntown on Monday night. The 21-year-old male rider was traveling south on a quiet highway when a 36-year-old woman pulled out in front of him. She was exiting a private drive and did not see the motorcyclist until too late. Although the young man was rushed to a nearby hospital, he died shortly after due to massive internal injuries. The police report does show that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Just one week before, another motorcyclist lost his life in the same county.
