Young Girl Killed in Dog Attack

A nine-year-old girl in the McCormick, Georgia area has reportedly died as the result of a dog attack that occurred while she was visiting her grandfather. Kristen Lee Dutton was reportedly pronounced dead as the dog bit her in the neck. The girl has reportedly helped walk the dog earlier in the day, but when they were playing together, the dog ended up attacking her. The grandfather had reportedly only had the dog for about three weeks. The dog has since been taken by animal control.
