Wrongful Death Lawsuit Turns Complicated

A wrongful death lawsuit just became more complicated as the victim's parents have decided to join the suit, delayed the settlement for her 8-year-old son.

Adrienne Martin was attending a party at her boyfriend, August Busch IV's, mansion when she was discovered unconscious. She later died due to an accidental overdose of oxycodone, but the coroner also determined that she had high levels of cocaine in her system as well. After her death, Martin's ex-husband, Dr. Kevin Martin, decided to sue the Budweiser heir on behalf of their 8-year-old son.

The Busch legal team had just agreed to a settlement of $1.5 million when Martin's parents, George Eby and Christine Trampler, decided to become parties to the lawsuit. As a result, the settlement has been postponed indefinitely until the matter has been resolved. If they do become parties to the suit, they could alter the award amount, demanding a portion for themselves.

If you need help filing a wrongful death lawsuit, it is advised that you obtain the services of a personal injury lawyer.
