Marine Killed in Motorcycle Accident

A former marine who had spent five years in the service had his life change in a moment last year. The 24-year-old man was riding his motorcycle when a commercial vehicle driver didn't see him on the road and struck him while making a left turn. There was no time for the marine to get out of the way so he laid the bike down flat on the road and went under the back right tire of the truck.

He told reporters that even his time spent in the service could not prepare him for the suffering, pain and frustration that has put his life on hold for over a year. At the time of the accident he was using his G.I. Bill money to attend classes at a local community college. As a result of the accident, however, he was unable to attend classes for the next eighteen months as he recuperated.

Unfortunately this type of accident happens all too often in the Carolinas.

If you have reason to believe that you have a personal injury case, now is the time to work with a personal injury lawyer.
