Girl Killed in Pit Bull Attack

A young girl has died as the result of a pit bull attack while her grandmother has suffered serious injuries. According to reports, the two were attacked by two pit bulls outside a local restaurant in the Waxhaw, North Carolina area. Mckayla Woodard and her grandmother Nancy Presson were attacked and then taken to a hospital for their injuries. Now, Presson is under sedation and in stable condition. The dogs have reportedly been known to wander the streets in the area.
