Suit Filed for Plane Accident that Killed Four People

While the federal government has taken responsibility for the plane crash that killed four people in 2008, they are disputing just how much the family should be paid. The remaining family members are now fighting for the $56 million personal injury settlement they have brought before the court.

In 2008 a military aircraft crashed into a home in San Diego. There were four people home at the time - two daughters, a mother and grandmother - all of whom lost their lives. The judge hearing the case told the press that he would make his final decision this week but did not give any hints as to how he might rule.

Attorneys assigned to this case believe that the government should pay $1 million in lost future wages. However, it is ultimately up to the judge to decide how much the remaining family members will get in compensation for their losses.

If you plan to file a personal injury lawsuit for a serious accident you were involved in, take the time to consult a personal injury lawyer first!
