Tire Blowout Leads to Accident

A Memphis man was lucky not to lose his life when his truck had a blowout on the highway.
According to the responding troopers, 20-year-old William David McCan Jr. was heading north on Highway 45 when one of the tires on his pickup truck blew out. He lost control of the vehicle, which flipped over several times before stopping on the side of the road.
McCan was rushed to a local hospital for observation, but given a clean bill of health despite the serious nature of the truck accident. His seatbelt is primarily to thank for keeping McCan in one piece during the rollover.
