North Carolina Woman Killed during Auto Accident

In Cabarrus County, and has been reported by WBTV that a woman died in a single vehicle crash during early morning hours on Monday.

Thecar accident occurred at 3:15 AM near the intersection of N.C. Highway 601 and Fairbluff Road, which are located just southeast of Concord.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, the victim of the accident was 42-year-old Cynthia Mallin.  Officers from the NCHP say that Mallin was driving on Fairbluff Road and heading toward the highway.  She winded up driving off of the road and crashed into a parked dump truck.  Police say she was driving 45 MPH when she crashed.  The speed limit on the road is marked as 35 MPH.
