14 Year Old Dies during Motorcycle Accident

Last Thursday, a 14-year-old girl who was riding on the back of her father's motorcycle was killed when her father lost control of the bike and crashed into the back of a van said Maryland State Police.

Lauryn Marie Little and her 42-year-old father, Brian Ross Little, were thrown from his motorcycle after it hit the rear end of a van at an intersection shortly before 5:00 PM states the police report.

The girl was immediately taken to a hospital in Baltimore and was pronounced dead upon arrival.  Her father is currently receiving treatment at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.  It is reported that family lives a few miles from the scene of the motorcycle accident.

At this time, state troopers say that the accident remains under investigation.
