North Carolina Man Killed in Auto Accident

This past Saturday morning, a man from the state of North Carolina died during a tragic car accident.  Police say that the man's vehicle drifted into a median in Grants, New Mexico.  While drifting, the car was struck by a large semi truck.

At this time, police say they are uncertain why the driver (42 year old Jose Ferraz) drifted into the median.  They have, however, ruled out alcohol as a factor.  They also say that at the time of the accident, Ferraz was wearing his seat belt.

As he drifted toward the median, police report that Ferraz tried to regain control of his vehicle but it rotated counter clockwise and then continued to spin.  The vehicle then spun toward the median before being hit by an oncoming semi.

Sadly, Ferraz was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.  The driver of the truck managed to escape the accident without suffering any injuries.

If you have been injured during an auto accident, you should obtain representation from a personal injury lawyer.
