In Mason City, Iowa, it is reported that a man who was convicted of sexual abuse in the third degree was recently sentenced with 10 years of prison time.  The assault took place on May 6, 2009 at a residence in the city.

On April 29th, a jury decided that defendant Kenneth Leonard Ingram was guilty.  His trial took place in Cerro Gordo County District Court.  This past Monday, he was sentenced by Judge James Drew.

Aside from being ordered to serve time in prison, Ingram will have lifetime supervision once he is out of prison.  He will also be forced to register as a sexual offender in the state of Iowa.

If you have been a victim of sexual abuse, whether in your home or in the work place, it is important that you take legal action against the individual that abused you.  One of the best things you can do is to seek assistance from a personal injury lawyer who can help you get the compensation you deserve from your ongoing pain and suffering.
