Two Officers Injured during Multi-Vehicle Crash

In Los Angeles, two police officers were reported as having suffered injuries on Saturday night.  The officers were involved in a multi-vehicle car accident in Van Nuys when they sustained their injuries.

The collision was reported at 9:22 PM and a Valley Traffic officer said that it occurred on Sepulveda and Victory boulevards.

At the time of the accident, the officers were transporting a suspect in their patrol car when they were hit head-on by another vehicle.  Police say that the officers, the suspect and two individuals in the other car suffered injuries as a result of the crash.  However, none of the injuries are reported as life-threatening.
