Lawsuit Against Truck Driver in Accident

A woman has filed a lawsuit against a truck driver who she claims crashed into her as he was trying to change lanes. Roxann Bohstedt states that she was driving when the truck driver, Desmond Ashley, tried to change lanes, but hit her car instead. She further reports that she has sustained severe and permanent injuries to her shoulders and cervical spine. The lawsuit claims that Ashley failed to keep the tractor-trailer under control, drove too fast, failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to keep a proper distance between his vehicle and others on the road, failed to keep his vehicle in the proper lane of traffic, failed to yield the right-of-way, drove his vehicle with disregard for the safety of others and failed to reduce his speed to avoid a collision.
