Arizona Woman Dies during Rollover Accident

This week, authorities in California reported that a woman from Yuma, Arizona was killed during a rollover accident.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 54 year old Martha Lidia Jimenez was alone in her vehicle when the auto accident occurred near Jacumba.  She had been driving on Interstate 8 when she drove off the road and rolled down into a nearby embankment.

Police say that the accident took place on Saturday.  When they arrived at the scene, they pronounced that Jimenez has died from accident related injuries.

Later, the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office ruled that Jimenez had suffered lethal head injuries during the rollover.
