Travis Barker Files Lawsuit for Injuries Stemming from Plane Crash

Musician Travis Barker has filed a  defective products claim against the owners of the Learjet plane involved September's famous plane crash.

Barker's lawsuit is claiming that the manufacturer of the plane, Bombardier, Inc., charter services Clay Lacy Aviation and Global Exec Aviation, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber were negligent, and therefore liable for the accident. The lawsuit also claims that the plane was defective, as were the component parts, including the tires.

Barker is seeking at least $25,000 in damages for his "pain and suffering, mental anguish, psychological and emotional distress, disfigurement, and pre-impact fear of death and burning."

Thelma Martin has also filed a lawsuit. Martin is the mother of Charles "Che" Still, Barker's security guard who died along with three others in the plane crash.

The case was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
