Do we have a possible lawsuit?

Details
My son and his pregnant wife had a bad 1 vehicle accident on I 459 when he lost control of the 2007 Nissan Frontier. It spun a few 360's and hit the rocky side of a mountain head on. His airbag deployed after impact and vehicle was already stationery. Her airbag did not deploy. She suffered facial fractures, broken nose, cuts on her leg. Both have neck and back pain. She can't eat due to fractured jaw. Both were transported by ambulance to UAB. She was placed in the Trauma Unit. The baby is a big concern. She is 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. My son said the vehicle seemed to have a mind of its own and couldn't get control of it. They were not going fast. We are concerned about the malfunction of the airbags. Car was totaled. What can we do to find out possible recalls or problems with this model.

Your son may have grounds for a lawsuit, as it is possible that the airbag malfunctioned and a defective auto part made the car difficult to control. A dangerous road condition also could have led to the vehicle spinning out of control. Your family should speak with a skilled attorney in your area who can examine the details of the accident and vehicle and look into filing a personal injury claim.
